Half term revision

Half term will soon be upon us and it's between GCSE papers 1 and 2.
I still have some spaces on the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon but I am filling up fast! To all my tutees...make sure you have booked some time with me if you feel you need it.

I was hoping to do a general session open to anyone at the library but it looks like that won't be happening.

STEM Crafts

Had a great week working with children in my local library in Brackley and also Middleton Cheney Library doing Gnasher's Doghouse. The children learnt the names of 2-D shapes by playing shape bingo, discussed what a net was and learnt the names of 3-D shape and then made Gnasher's Doghouse using the net provided. Next week we'll be kite making in Brackley and learning names of quadrilaterals and in Middleton Cheney we'll be making things that balance in strange ways.

BBC2 programmes

BBC2 next week is Science week between 1 and 3pm They are showing BBC BITESIZE programmes between 1 and 2pm followed by The planets between 2 and 3pm for all the budding astronomers put there!
